WRAL-TV is seeking a Video Editor to help edit video for newscasts, take in microwave, LiveU and satellite feeds, contribute video via email and shared server, set up and record zoom interviews. Must have or have the aptitude to develop strong news judgment, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and work well with others while under pressure.
This individual will also assist the production team during newscasts in multiple capacities including teleprompter operation, camera operation, and floor directing. Must be able to multi-task efficiently and meet deadlines. .Experience editing news (non-linear), computer literacy, and newsroom experience is preferred. A college degree and two to three years of experience is also preferred.
