Water Works Manager

Consolidated Supply Co. is a Pacific NW wholesaler of water works, hydronic heating, and plumbing products with multiple locations. We have an opening at our Tigard branch for a Water Works Manager who would supervise and coordinate the branch's water works team (outside sales, insides sales, project managers and estimators).

Job Description

This position will manage the water works sales team to achieve established sales and margin goals. Maintain and build relationships with water works customers and vendors. Support the implementation of business plans and strategies under the direction of the branch manager and corporate water works leadership to attain both financial and non-financial goals. Keeps abreast of current appraisals of market conditions and competitive practices and communicates them to the outside sales team, branch and water works leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or related field; and 3-5 years' experience in water works sales or sales leadership in a wholesale distribution environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described essential functions.
• Supervisory experience preferred with the proven capabilities of inspiring outstanding performance from all levels of the sales and service organization.
• Proven effectiveness in managing teams.
• Demonstrated leadership proficiency in sales and vendor management.
• Job experience involving extensive customer contact, including building & maintaining customer relationships.
• A proven track record of developing and coaching high performance talent in a high accountability environment.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of Windows software, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point.
• Ability to work necessary hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Candidates must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, meet set deadlines, and have strong follow up.
• Effective written and verbal communication across multiple forms of communication tools.
