Directs and manages the business operations within the Pump Division to achieve company goals. Accountable for overall Division performance, profitable achievement of goals and aligning objectives with Carotek's business strategy. Fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Division's efficient operations and success. This position serves as a member of the Executive team.

  • Financially responsible for the P&L results of the Division, managing all aspects of the Division's finances.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement. Facilitate successful implementation of new programs within the Division by ensuring a well-defined, efficient process is in place.
  • Align Division objectives with Carotek's business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, development, forecasting, resource planning and budgeting.
  • Establish sales goals by forecasting annual sales and projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products.
  • Establish relationships with the Mechanical Products Group principals and adhere to manufacturer's goals, quotas and reporting requirements.
  • Lead sales team in growing the Carotek pump business through winning new customers and competitor focus. Establish a means to measure these activities with regular cadence with the team.
  • Lead sales team to cultivate exiting accounts by elevating Company presence to gain the attention of key decision makers. Track lost and declining business of existing customers and develop a measure of goals around these topics.
  • Lead Inside sales team to improve efficiencies, ensure strong product knowledge and respond to growth and strategic expectations of our product manufacturers.
  • Ensure sales reports are provided and develop new reporting tools as needed.
  • Evaluate Division performance and recommend new strategies for performance improvements.
  • Manage rotating equipment service and repair work with goals to increase repair business and profitability.
  • Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities. Identify skills gaps and provide appropriate trainings to team. Oversee staffing adjustments to obtain maximum productivity.
  • Recommend cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.
  • Maintain regular cadence with sales teams (inside and outside) for division strategies, goals, productivity towards goals and measurement metrics.
  • Establish SalesForce CRM expectations with outside sales groups.
  • Manage incoming leads, opportunities and E-Comm sales for Mechanical Products Group.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work as job duties demand.


Occasional travel is expected and may require overnight stays and weekends. Ability to transport self to various facility sites as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other related course of study. A minimum of eight years related experience. Must possess a thorough knowledge of pumps and blowers to include air operated diaphragm pumps, positive displacement pumps and blowers, gear pumps, vacuum pumps; Microsoft Office and other computerized software packages.

Preferred Education and Experience

Master's Degree.

10+ years related experience.
