Amgen's 10 - 12 week internship program offers meaningful project experiences that impact patient's lives. This internship provides the opportunity for executive and social networking events and to participate in community volunteer projects while providing a competitive compensation.

Relocation in the form of a miscellaneous allowance will be provided for eligible candidates.

Amgen's network or equipment capabilities are siloed by site-based subject matter experts and no centralized, organized repository exists. Having an up to date database in a well-organized format will enable and/or speed up several workflows, including by not limited to:
  • Drug Substance manufacturing site selection
  • Highlight equipment gaps and opportunities
  • Enable network standardization efforts
  • Enable nimbleness for equipment sharing/pivoting (single-use system supply chain constraints)
  • Streamline introduction of new equipment based on centralized utility details

Develop framework for repository. Populate framework and upload a centralized repository that details site capabilities from vial thaw to bulk drug substance storage for Amgen internal capabilities.

Stretch goal: Incorporate known external capabilities into the same framework; incorporate how commercial and development pipelines utilize equipment throughout the network.
