SUMMARY:

The position of Treasury Services Sales Officer II is to identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury services and products to established reputable business customers and prospective corporate clients. Treasury Services Officer works intimately with relationship officers to attain deposit goals and service charges. Incumbents in this position possess more than 5 years of experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Hardens customer retention work efforts by delivering superior level of customer service.
  • Generates supplementary revenue from the sales of products and services of treasury services.
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for their market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Maintains contact with all branches, Regional Executives and other Bank representatives in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to junior members of the Treasury Services Team.
  • Completes annual compliance courses.
  • Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures. Also adheres to Federal and State regulations and laws; including, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • Adheres to all levels of our Service Excellence standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge & Experience: These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • Bachelors degree in Business related field from an accredited college. Work related experience should consist of duties in a business environment. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • 4 5 years of experience in banking, technology or sales.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Patience to deal with errors or problems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Bank operations, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Vision, hearing, speech, dexterity, visual concentration. A valid drivers license is required. Must have the ability to stand, walk, sit and use hands and fingers. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The environment is a professional office with standard office equipment.

Cognitive Requirements: Learning, thinking, concentration, ability to exercise self-control, ability to work in a customer relations environment. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary.
