Training Coordinator, CPD - Central Campus

Primary Function: Coordinate and facilitate Workforce Development courses in Continuing and Professional Development.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Under limited supervision, provide oversight of operations with extensive responsibilities in specialized areas participating in and leading planning, development, evaluation and improvement.
  • Responsible for compliance with policies, procedures and a variety of local, state & federal regulations.
  • Actively maintains up-to-date knowledge of areas and assists Subject Matter Experts (SME) as needed, including, assisting instructors/SME's to write course syllabi; course objectives; and in development of teaching outcomes.
  • Assists in the recruiting and/or selection of adjunct faculty.
  • Schedules classes, prioritizes work, & associated activities (e.g. teaching schedule, equipment maintenance, etc.).
  • Coordinate and oversee the development and organization of training materials; selecting and purchasing of textbooks; collecting, organizing & writing of curriculum. Monitor, purchase and control resources such as equipment and consumable supplies needed for instructional programs.
  • Facilitates the development, delivery and customization courses of the program.
  • Recommends appropriate delivery methods.
  • Implements course evaluations of assigned areas, analyzes results, and makes recommendations for revision.
  • Assess adjunct teaching effectiveness by direct observation, student survey, and client input.
  • Advising of students & training of students and/or instructors.
  • Develops Pre- and Post- testing tools with SME's & Instructors.
  • Student tracking and data input.
  • Assists program area management with tracking and approval of certain budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of marketing, sales, customer service, & delivery methods.

  • Knowledge of Software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, etc.)
  • Multi-tasking abilities, ability to work in fast paced environment with short-notice deadlines
  • Ability to travel to various locations in a timely and efficient manner utilizing the most direct route(s).
  • Must be available for evening & weekend hours as needed.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in program area or area related to management or education

Required Experience:
  • Three (3) years of continuous & verifiablefield teamwork experience related to business operations, supply chain, andentrepreneurship.
  • Experience in implementing & using appropriate learning theories for adult learners.

Preferred Experience:
  • Five (5) years of continuous & verifiable field teamwork experience related to business operations, supply chain, and entrepreneurship.

Remote Work Opportunities:
  • The duties of this position require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location during unrestricted operations with very limited or no opportunity for remote work arrangements.


Salary Grade: 22

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
