Responsible for supporting the overall projects involving contracting and pricing management & maintenance, as well as contract performance monitoring. In addition, this role will require drafting new channel partner contracts and amendments; routing/completion of pricing requests; loading/updating of pricing, and preparation of monthly/quarterly financial submissions in accordance with reporting requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Government Price Reporting
    • Supports operations of the TPA to ensure accurate and timely submissions of monthly, quarterly, and annual price reports to various federal and state government agencies, as well as rebates owed under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Programs, Medicare Coverage Gap, TRICARE, and IFF Funding Fee.
    • Key contributor to monthly, quarterly, and annual Gross Pricing (GP) calculation internal review, approval, and certification activities (including but not limited to AMP, BP, Non-FAMP, and FCP).
    • Assists Finance in data reconciliation activities and ensure data is correctly classified for proper inclusion/exclusion to the GP calculations.
    • Maintains and supports Class-of-trade activities.
    • Conducts and provides meaningful analysis to the organization on GP issues to allow informed business decisions to be made.
    • Maintains appropriate written and electronic documentation consistent with approved policy and various compliance requirements including as required by state and federal requirements.
  • Pricing and Contracting
    • Supports net-price strategies, monitor and evaluate contract performance, and ensure eligible customers have appropriate access to product and pricing.
    • Coordinates contract operations activities with TPA, including but not limited to contract setup, membership maintenance, and pricing updates.
    • Works with Finance to support gross-to-net forecasts, to help accurately reflect gross/net revenues, and to respond to audit requests.
    • Ensures accurate and timely contractual payments to commercial customers, including but not limited to Fees-for-service, Admin Fees, etc
    • Assists in developing commercial pricing and contracting strategies and recommendations.
    • Ensures compliance with all pricing and contracting policies and procedures, in addition to all Price Transparency laws.
    • Performs ad hoc pricing analysis as needed.
    • Leads activities related to list-price changes.
    • Uses analytics to monitor and evaluate wholesaler/distributor performance and to help identify revenue leakage.
    • Reviews and monitors returns and product replacement transactions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Consistently reviews and assesses strategies for validating customer eligibility, contract membership, and complying with terms of contracts.
    • Supports special projects as needed

Education/Experience/Skills:

Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably with business or finance, or equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience. Requires a minimum of three years of data driven contract/pricing assessment experience within the healthcare segment (Pharma, Med Device, Medicaid Rebates, etc.).

Must possess:
  • Preferred knowledge of the rules and regulations supporting the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and other government pricing programs in addition to knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to look for opportunities to streamline routine work, propose solutions and help implement process changes to improve department efficiencies.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a diverse and challenging environment, successfully handling multiple priorities and delivery against tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytic skills to solve problems and resolve issues within and external to ACADIA, and to work closely with data, vendors, customers and contracts to determine the proper resolution.
