Who You Are

The Revenue Enablement team is responsible for driving the effectiveness and efficiency of Justworks' Sales and Customer Success teams. The Sales Assistant team is responsible for supporting that growth and enabling our sellers to reach their goals. We are looking for someone who will lead the Sales Assistant team and help us continue to refine our process and optimize our ability to support the sellers at Justworks.

You are a self-motivated individual that is not afraid to hit the ground running. You have exceptional organizational skills, like working with data, and excel at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are a leader who loves to develop and foster relationships. You are an excellent communicator, being able to motivate and bring a team together to work toward common goals.

You will work closely with Revenue Enablement, Sales Managers, Sales Operations, and Risk Underwriting.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Manage day-to-day performance and coach and develop a team of Sales Assistants
  • Work with Sales Managers, Sales Operations, Enablement, and other internal partners to refine and improve systems and processes
  • Establish other areas of opportunity to reduce our sellers' time spent on non-selling activities and expand the teams scope of work in partnership with leadership
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team
  • Train team on relevant updates when applicable
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications
  • Support sales team process in compiling data and submitting applications for our relevant insurance policies
  • Embody company culture and maintain high level of integrity with data submissions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

As a Team Lead, Sales Assistants, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

  • Good judgment - the exercise of critical thinking, analyzing and assessing problems and implications, identifying patterns, making connections of underlying issues, understanding risks and developing mitigation strategies, and taking ownership of the outcome.
  • Detail-oriented - exercises extreme attention to detail; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both the cause and effect of a situation.
  • Foundational sales knowledge - the specific set of sales skills (prospecting, cold calling, nurturing, engaging, presenting, negotiating, closing etc) and knowledge (product, markets, trends, business etc) a person possesses to enact the exchange of value between a buyer and the vendor.
  • Results-driven - consistently achieves results, even under difficult circumstances.
  • Clear communication - the ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding.

Qualifications

  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting - you know Excel forward and back
  • You have strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • Proficient in Excel
