Pitt IT Financial Systems - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (22009083)

The Pitt Information Technology department at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking an HCM System Analyst. As an HCM System Analyst on the HCM Applications team, you will design, configure, test, and deploy innovative solutions for HR and Payroll functionality in the Oracle HCM Cloud application. Incumbent supports enterprise-wide human capital management applications by: participating in cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and system capabilities; conducting business requirement assessments to improve HCM technology solutions; aligning them with organizational objectives and strategic initiatives; maintaining, organizing, and reporting on human resources information within to streamline the user experience; enabling actionable insights for business units; and designing, configuring, and maintaining HCM systems to support the operational needs of business units.

Incumbent works under minimal supervision, and often independently, on assigned operational and project tasks, and as such must be able to prioritize multiple assignments and tasks to meet their respective due dates. Qualified candidates must demonstrate: strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and results-orientation; interpersonal and problem-solving skills; passion for process and technology innovation; team-player mentality; intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; previous experience with HR and/or payroll functions; and previous experience with enterprise HR/Payroll systems, specifically Oracle HCM Cloud (preferred, but not required), HR, and/or payroll professional designations, e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, HRIP, CPP (preferred, but not required).

Bachelor's degree with two to three years of experience. Combination of education, experience and/or industry certifications will be considered in lieu of listed education/experience levels.
