ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who will be responsible for product demand planning, ensuring that the availability of materials is met, based on the needs of OUP Mexico's customers.

The role will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

The role is accountable for facilitating demand planning in collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, finance, and customer support teams to meet sales and service objectives.

This role will be accountable for and supporting the following specific activities:
  • Gather, report, and analyze relevant information to generate demand planning, ensuring that product availability is met in accordance with the established OUPM purchasing cycle.
  • Manage and lead working meetings with other departments to gather and analyze information that impacts demand planning, e.g., business plans, new products, price changes, availability, changes in demand, market trends, etc.
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and implementation at local and global level, reconciling commercial forecasts with logistical and financial requirements, and ensuring that inventory level targets are appropriate.
  • Act as an intermediary between the Commercial team and the Supply Chain and Inventory team to improve Forecast Demand Accuracy.
  • Supporting the planning of the Purchasing Budget for the next 12 and 24 months to generate the demand plan, and with a scope of 5FY.
  • Responsible for analyzing the purchase of materials, to meet the replenishment of the product at the time it is required to be available, considering international transit and/or production times.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and other supply chain activities, supervising the activities of the import executive for scheduled operations, including customs clearance.
  • Implement and improve service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer service.
  • Comply with internal/external audits on purchasing, data or other information planning process or any requirements.
  • Comply with OUP operating procedures, as well as OUP's Ethics and Compliance, Health and Safety, Sustainability policies and act accordingly.

ABOUT YOU
  • 3 years of experience in forecasting and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the demand planning process.
  • Good knowledge of supply chain and customs broker procedures (e.g., inventory planning, warehouse management, Freight forwarders, customs clearance, quotation, INCOTERMS)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or TOTVS)
  • Knowledge and implementation of KPI's and SLA's.
  • Absolute integrity and strong business ethics
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience with customer relations
