Join our growing Electrical Service Team! Compu Dynamics has an immediate opening for an Electrical Service Superintendent.



The Superintendent is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all the activities of one or more construction projects in accordance with the customer contract, the project documents, and the approved budget and schedule.

Essential Functions:

  1. Lays out project work and ensures that materials, tools, equipment, etc. are scheduled in a timely manner to meet scope, budget, and project construction schedules.
  2. Executes and makes changes to subcontracts
  3. Initiates change order requests as needed
  4. Monitors project worksite for any potential safety hazards and ensure that all work is completed with zero accidents.
  5. Coordinate with client operations personnel and project management to ensure compliance with Owner's security, safety, and access procedures to projects sites.
  6. Communicates with project team regarding, design changes, RFI's, and material Submittals.
  7. Accountable for on-site supervision of assigned construction projects, trade contractors, and field personnel, in such a way as to ensure scheduled completion of projects within established budget, timeframe, quality and performance standards, and customer/client satisfaction.
  8. Schedules and participates in necessary inspections required by local and state regulations and organizes final inspections for completed work.
  9. Prepares daily log reports for sites conditions, manpower and activities in sufficient detail.
  10. Collaborates with the project manager and site operations team throughout the life of the project.
  11. Reviews and approves T&M tickets.
  12. Manages punch list
  13. Oversees subcontractor foreman meetings.
  14. Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices.
  15. Assists with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  16. Conducts bi-annual performance evaluations.
  17. Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.

Supervisory responsibility of subcontractors and tradespeople

Work Environment:

This job operates in a field environment; it involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and extreme temperatures. Work is often required after normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs/ladders; pushing/pulling; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position.


Required Education and Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. 8 years as a Project Superintendent.

Preferred Education and Experience:

10-15 years a Superintendent
