LPA is seeking a passionate Structural Revit Design Coordinator to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. As a member of our structural team, you will work on a broad range of projects from office, education and recreation buildings to complex laboratories, health care facilities, and performing arts centers. Our award-winning projects aim to have a positive and enduring environmental, economic and social impact.
You will join a high-performing, fast paced, multi-disciplinary design team, and you will impact projects at each stage of design and across LPA's nine market sectors. We offer numerous education and mentoring opportunities including site tours, software training, tech talks, study groups for licensure exams and monthly LPA-U courses centered around innovative and sustainable design practices. What you will do:

  • The Design Coordinator will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in the design and documentation of a large variety of building types and structural systems
  • Prepare documentation for design development and construction documents
  • Review and process construction administration documents
  • Mentor-ship from Project Leaders and Managing Directors
  • Help identify problems and provide solutions

Requirements:

  • 4-15 years of experience in all phases of building design projects, with a focus on structural drafting and BIM modeling
  • Associate of Science Degree in Computer Drafting and Design encouraged
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit is required
  • Enthusiastic commitment to coordinating the multidisciplinary design process
  • Adequate communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to pursue high quality construction documents
  • Demonstrate independence, innovation and vision with program, project design and implementation
  • Adhere to all LPA standards and procedure
