Overview

The Social Media Manager supports the Sr. Manager of Social Media in planning, managing, and executing social media strategies to drive awareness, traffic, and engagement for Arbonne.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day planning, management and monitoring of social media content as well as assisting in content creation and social media strategies
.



Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and build monthly social media calendar identify key messages and brainstorm visual inspirations working closely with the creative team.
  • Manage monthly social media photo request, coordinates relevant photoshoots and relationship with freelance photographer for assignments.
  • Create content work with creative team (occasionally on your own) to shoot images for feed and IG stories as well as Instagram reels videos.
  • Publish content on all relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube etc.).
  • Engage with followers and monitor conversations across social media channels.
  • Create engaging and educational brand stories to tell through visual and written content including caption copy and Instagram Stories.
  • Work with Customer Service team to guide them on answering CS related questions on social through Social Studio management platform.
  • Identify social and industry trends to develop exciting and appealing content while engaging new and current customers.
  • Work with training team to create Consultant specific social media assets
  • Develop best practices guides to help Arbonne Consultants use social media to grow their businesses.
  • Manage Instagram influencer tracking & Arbonne Like2Buy feed through Curalte platform.
  • Manage and maintain the Arbonne Digital toolkit, Photofy and SmugMug tools.
  • Support the Sr. Social Media Manager in the development of social strategies to build Arbonne's online presence.
  • Work with internal teams to develop plans for seasonal launches and promotions.
  • Prepare monthly reports to track specific KPIs and digital recommendations to maximize Arbonne's social media presence.
  • Coverage at Arbonne events taking photos, executing IG stories, planning onsite content, distributing content to appropriate parties and working with photographers and videographers.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication or marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in social and digital marketing at a company with consumer products or a digital agency.
  • Savvy with social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube and passionate to stay current on other emerging apps and sites
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how to maintain and grow social media presence across all major social media platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Must be a self-starter with energy, drive and determination to accomplish goals and demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, stay focused, and set clear milestones
  • Must be results-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills
  • Creative-minded and strong problem-solving ability
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity or uncertainty
  • Attention to detail ensuring you're crossing your T's and dotting your I's for maximum efficiency.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate changes as they happen

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in photography, Photoshop, and video platforms.
  • Experience in beauty, fashion or similar industries
  • Experience in the multi-level marketing space
  • Experience with various social media tools such as Curalate, Social Studio, Rival IQ, Google Analytics
