The Senior Project Manager, Commercialization is responsible for performing and managing various tasks related to new product launch and changes to existing products.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead cross-functional project teams through Stage Gate and new product commercialization to deliver on-time and on budget.

Lead various project types, such as innovation, line extensions, renovation, packaging redesign, channel initiatives, promotional programs, cost savings, process improvement, and change management.

Lead product category project meetings; publish agendas and recaps.

Develop timelines and ensure teams meet all project milestones.

Ensure project risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated to leadership.

Compile and submit COGS assumptions for Stage Gate P&L review.

Lead high-profile and high-complexity projects, managing dependencies across Orgain initiatives, brands, functions and geographies.

Champion process evolution for new product commercialization; responsible for leading process improvement and change management execution.

Create, maintain, and publish Finished Goods Specs and Packaging Specs.

Maintain and publish New Item Master.

Set individual goals for improving and expanding on everyday job functions, as well as on the greater social and environmental aspects of your work. We expect that you remain accountable to these goals and report your progress in performance reviews.

Adhere to Orgain's environmental policies, including our environmental purchasing and recycling policies.

Be an active member in enhancing Orgain's social and environmental impact. Help us continue to evolve our commitment to the planet and the people we serve.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of project management, or relevant experience, working in CPG environment preferred.

PMP certification or relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects concurrently.

Strong collaboration and influence management skills to drive complex decision making and build consensus among various stakeholder groups.

Embody solutions-oriented approach.

Ability to inspire and motivate self and others.

Model thought-leadership and strategic mindset to support team in making right decisions for business and to deliver Orgain's strategic priorities.

Balance and prioritize work across multiple projects with tight timelines and deadlines.

Excellent communication and presentations skills.

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Self-directed with a demonstrated sense of accountability.

Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented business.

High proficiency in analytical, presentation, project management and collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Monday.com).

This position may participate in ongoing sensory (Tasting, Smelling, Touching, Seeing) evaluation on many different types of foods and food ingredients with known allergens or sensitizers including but not limited to dairy, wheat, coconut, sesame, tree nuts, peanuts, sulfites, gluten, chocolate, fruit, natural sweeteners, colors.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Position located in Irvine, CA and requires 2 days a week minimum in office subject to change per business needs.

May include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned to the associate from time to time; the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. This job description does not constitute a contract of employment and the company may exercise its employment-at-will rights at any time.


SALARY RANGE: $115,000 to $145,000 per year

Final salary is commensurate upon a variety of factors, including work location, experience, skills, field of responsibility, and education credentials of the associate.
