The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting will be responsible for the production and drafting to the company's financial statement filings with the SEC (10K and 10Q) and will lead efforts to develop various accounting policies and procedures to ensure a solid corporate foundation. The position operates in fast paced, diverse, and hands-on environment. As the company continues to grow, the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting must be able to adapt quickly to meet the changing needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work well independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment. He/she must be proactive, customer service oriented, ambitious, passionate, adaptable, and flexible.

Responsibilities
    • Prepare 10Q and 10K financial statements with the SEC.
    • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including newly issued accounting pronouncements.
    • Recommend, implement, maintain and communicate accounting policies, practices and procedures to improve and insure financial control and integrity of the Company's financial statements and reporting process.
    • Manage and review monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
    • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
    • Process ownership including SOX compliance for areas of responsibility
    • Providing research or training to business and accounting positions regarding complex accounting issues
    • Prepare Consolidated Balance Sheet, Consolidated Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Stockholders' Equity and Form 10-K and 10-Q support binders.
    • Manage and complete special projects as necessary
    • Act as a technical accounting resource for the company by researching, resolving, documenting, and communicating technical accounting and external reporting implications of complex and non-standard transactions and communicate required treatment and entries to accounting staff.
    • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including newly issued accounting pronouncements.
    • Assist with other areas such as EPS calculations, stock-based compensation expense,
    • Manage the reporting timeline and work collaboratively with various business partners to ensure reporting timelines are met.
    • Responsible for the preparation of the XBRL tagging of financial statements under US GAAP using the Wdesk platform
    • Maintain, update, and evaluate new accounting policies in line with new pronouncements.
    • Prepare the financial press releases and assist in review of financial scripts. =
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a must
    • 4-7 years of accounting experience, public accounting experience, or a combination of both
    • 3+ years of SEC reporting experience
    • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
    • Big 4 Public Accounting experience required
    • High degree of business and technical proficiency, judgment and leadership skills
    • Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP
    • Strong personal leadership skills, including problem solving and analytical skills
    • Familiarity with Workiva and SAP preferred and excellent EXCEL skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
