Summary: Aligns and coordinates local Human Resources program with company standards. Manages, directs, and evaluates Legal Entitys programs related to recruitment, development and retention of employees. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in HR.

Essential Functions:

  • Exercises judgment and confidentiality within defined practices and policies in matters related to Human Relations, including, but not limited to: compensation, hiring, employee development and policy and benefits administration.
  • Knowledgeable of US employment laws and general human resources concepts.
  • Consults company management and/or legal counsel as appropriate
  • Administration of benefits and compensation programs
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding and retention of employees
  • Counsels management and assists in termination actions; conducts exit interviews.
  • Conducts compensation/wage surveys within labor markets to determine competitive wage rates.
  • Facilitates company-wide initiatives within the Legal Entity, ensuring timelines are followed and deadlines are met; including performance appraisals, bonus program, etc.
  • Maintains all personnel records, including training, performance and salary reviews, work related medical records, disciplinary actions, records of legal status for employment, and other relevant documents.
  • Handles Workers Compensation claims.
  • Ensures proper processing and generation of company payroll in coordination with assigned payroll specialist
  • Required to do various reports, including legally required reporting
  • Follows quality procedures according to ISO 9001; participates in required safety walks as assigned.
  • Safety obligations:
    • All employees understand and are able to explain the structure and objectives of the SBP.
    • All employees follow the safety rules.
    • All employees have "the right and duty to intervene" in the event a safety concern becomes evident. In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident.

All employees are required to comply with all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to proper use of required PPE at all times.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assists in planning company sponsored events
  • Oversees the procurement of cafeteria supplies and supplies for company meetings
  • Performs other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist


  • BS HR or equivalent (Associates Degree and 3 years experience in human resources field required).
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to handle confidential matters with integrity.
  • General knowledge of wage and hour laws, federal and state labor laws.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word
  • Knowledge and experience with ADP preferred
