We have an exciting global role supporting HR systems and projects for Amyris, a fast growing industrial biotech company. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with the HR team, business partners, payroll and finance to plan, execute and deliver global HR projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with expertise in HR and payroll systems implementation, integration and project management.

Responsibilities
    • Have a good understanding of end-to-end HR process and data from recruiting, onboarding, employee life cycle to payroll.
    • Make recommendations on improving data quality utilizing process and technology.
    • Drive strong data and process governance and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.
    • Develop project plan, define deliverables and manage plan to completion.
    • Develop technical expertise needed to support existing and future systems and integrations. Key systems in use today - BambooHR, Lever, PayScale, Modulus, ADP eTime and ADP WorkforceNow.
    • Manage system access and configure systems to support on-going business needs.
    • Prepare systems to support compensation cycles and benefits open enrollment.
    • Support audit requests and ensure we are in compliance with audit requirements.
    • Document and train users on new functionality and system enhancements.
    • Develop HR analytics and reporting to support effective decision-making process.
    • Manage issues to resolution with vendors and provide timely communications to impacted users.
    • Partner closely with HR team and business partners in program delivery and other projects as assigned.


Qualifications
    • 8+ years of professional experience with 5+ years progressive experience in HR, with significant focus in HRIS and project management.
    • Proficient in systems configuration, integration tools, process mapping, project management tools.
    • Ability to influence, engage, and partner closely with appropriate business partners across all levels of the organization.
    • Self-starter and operational problem solver.
    • Ability to create simple, scalable processes.
    • Can-do, make it happen attitude.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
    • Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner.
    • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
    • BA or BS degree.
