Citi Commercial Cards' Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and Business-to-Business (B2B) solutions form the core of the expense management strategies for thousands of corporate card programs.The Senior Global Market Manager is a critical player for Commercial Cards and a member of the Global Business & Market Management team. We are seeking a strong, seasoned candidate to join the Global Commercial Cards team and support key priorities related to competitive intelligence and deal management. The Senior Global Market Manager will be a member of the Global Product Management Team and will follow latest trends in Commercial Cards and payments and support teams through close interactions with senior bankers, global and regional Product, Sales & Account Managers, and Finance Teams across Citi. This is a Vice President role in the Global Commercial Cards, reporting to the Global Head of Business and Market Management.This person will have a unique contribution to key areas of Global Commercial Cards:

+ **Market Analysis and Business Strategy:** Lead cross-business partner identification for opportunities for growth and advise on how our business should respond. Provide Cards and payment industry insights and awareness to the business.

+ **Market Competitiveness Insights:** Support teams with developing and creating market-positioning studies and assess impact on business. Monitor trends that impact the business at a global, regional, and industry level as well as competitor positioning offerings and how this impacts our Cards clients and business.

+ **Sales Positioning & Deal Management:** Support creation of general sales materials and development of targeted industry/vertical sales materials for cards to enable growth of products with relationships with Banking/Global Solution Sales/Card sales managers. Support maintenance of contracts and negotiation tracking. Gain client-facing experience in negotiation for complex, global deals.

+ **Strategic Oversight of Deal Flow:** Lead solutioning and pricing discussion with Citi Product, Sales and Account Managers, TTS/Cards Seniors, and Bankers/Sales Solutions Managers via Global Deal Review Form.

+ **Pricing:** Manage pricing model and pricing strategy across regions including cross-functional coordination of enhancements aligned with macro/business/and product variables and business needs for new product launches.

+ **Client-Centric Solutions:** Identify key client and industry needs. Design multi-product offerings across Commercial Cards and Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS). Promote key messages/go-to-market campaigns for key priorities for Commercial Cards.

+ **Sustainability:** Support execution of market leading global ESG strategy on day-to-day basis and play key role in serving as client/sales advocate for needs in key priority for Global Commercial Cards, Treasury and Trade Solutions, and Citi.The successful candidate will be a self-starter and a team player. The role will also require an ability to champion progress and lead change by working with regional Product teams, Product Sales and Account Management, and functional teams globally.


+ 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial management or business management function with preferred knowledge of commercial cards, digital payments, and/or related industry.

+ Knowledge and experience in commercial cards highly preferred.

+ Adeptness at quickly synthesizing and distilling complex information; ability to problem solve.

+ Communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage at senior levels given the level of cross-team and client/sales engagement involved, and senior management exposure.

+ The candidate should be able to work independently and in multi-dimensional teams equally effectively, be creative, and be a critical thinker.

+ Knowledge of industry players and providers, as well as industry networks is preferred.

+ Role will have daily interaction with regional (global) teams.

+ Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
