The Cardiac and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular

Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure offers devices and therapies to treat
abnormal heart rhythms, as well as cardiac diagnostic and monitoring solutions.


This
hands-on technical management position has responsibility to provide the
leadership necessary to build Analog IC Design functional excellence with deep
understanding of overall IC design. Be a player coach in the Analog IC design
team with leadership quality with mix of strong analog and Mixed Signal IC
design experience.


**Day in the Life:**


+ Managethe activities of Analog IC Design team with responsibility for results interms of costs, methods, and employees. Accomplish results through technicaland organizational leadership and subordinate Design Engineers or specialistemployees. Recommend functional structures of Analog IC Design Organization.

+ StrongLow Power Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design knowledge and experience.

+ Frequentcontacts with equivalent level managers and other Functional representativesand customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions,scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications. Conduct briefings andtechnical meetings for internal and external representatives.

+ Responsiblefor all projects assigned to the section(s) or department(s). Act as an advisorto subordinate staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical oroperational problems. Directly participate in establishing and administeringmany functional projects.

+ Handson technical leadership. Need to act asa technical leader most of the time.

+ Assignmentsare received in objective oriented terms. Provide guidance to subordinatesbased on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms ofmeeting the organizations objectives and schedules.

+ Interpret,execute, and recommend modifications to organizational policies.

+ Responsiblefor technical guidance and leadership.

+ Assists with the hiring of new team members

+ Providefunctional and/or project vision and leadership of group toward meetingbusiness goals.

+ Manageimplementation of advanced design and engineering methodologies, techniques,and evaluation criteria.

+ Mentorengineering resources in support of technological, product and system requirements.

+ Coachand develop engineers towards meeting personal and corporate objectives

+ Managethe alignment with core business leaders and ensure execution with properresources (skills, abilities, talent).

+ Partnerwith project managers to ensure annual performance reviews are conducted on atimely basis.

+ Select,develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of thefunction.

+ Determineand develop technical and managerial pipeline for organization.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
