The Senior Director of New District Engagement leads a team responsible for the growth of new to network PLTW programs across the nation. The Senior Director of New District Engagement plays a key role in recruiting, hiring, and retaining New Growth Team Members, helping them develop skills by modeling effective practices and providing ongoing coaching and feedback as they develop expertise in their role. This role supports the larger Engagement Team by developing strategic and tactical plans, troubleshooting barriers, and closing deals to support the pursuit of new to network growth and the North Star. The Senior Director manages a personal portfolio of key accounts, maintaining responsibility for all aspects of targeted engagement. The Senior Director engages with assigned accounts to conduct compelling product pitches to nurture and grow accounts while anticipating evolving needs over time. This position is remote and based in a home office. The ability to travel regularly is an essential component of this position.

*This role is fully remote and can be based in any state. While PLTW's offices are located in Indiana, our Team Members work remotely across the U.S.

Responsibilities

Recruit, Hire, coaching, and develop Team Members, modeling successful PLTW training practices and behaviors

Lead assigned special projects, ensuring appropriate strategic planning and delivering results to meet and/or exceed goals

Develop and implement growth focused tactical action plans to meet and/or exceed goals

Support and coach assigned Team Members in the development of customized pitches and new to network account closings

Deliver seamless, high-quality service reflective of PLTW service standards

Oversee the new to network engagement activities including prospecting, lead and opportunity pipeline management, closing deals, transition for implementation support, and on-going relationship management within assigned portfolio

Lead and conduct account research and data analysis to develop an understanding of structure, priorities, key stakeholders, and other pertinent information needed to inform strategy and tactics

Master PLTW product fundamentals and develop customized tactics and sales pitches for assigned new to network accounts

Develop, lead, and coordinate PLTW engagement experiences that support decision making needs of new to network accounts

Promote eligible grant and funding opportunities for new to network accounts within assigned account portfolio to meet and/or exceed goals

Support and coach assigned Team Members working with grant and funding opportunities to meet and/or exceed goals

Effectively manage and track account information within PLTW's Salesforce CRM system

Stay abreast of and coach/mentor to the competitive landscape, trends and opportunities that impact assigned, and team member owned, account portfolio

Other duties as assigned



Knowledge

Bachelor's degree is required

Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

Skills and Abilities

Proven track record of exceptional performance as a deal closer

Demonstrates a passion for the new to network growth and the ability and desire to coach and mentor others toward success

Previous experience in sales, management, deal and pitch development, education, education administration, or a related role

Passionate about customer success and a proven ability to nurture and grow new to network business relationships over time

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving work environment

Ability to meet and/or exceed assigned goals in a high-performing work environment

Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) strategy

Excellent judgment and ability to adapt to changing priorities with ease and efficiency

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence" and to coordinate multiple internal and external partners
