Reporting to the Associate Director of Corporate Accounting, the Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the financial cycle required by the Accounting Department.

What You Can Expect To Do

  • Responsible for general ledger maintenance and preparation of monthly corporate financial statements
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account analysis, and bank reconciliation
  • Co-manage the companys corporate credit card activity and reporting
  • Help monitor and maintain bank balances for corporate and property related accounts and prepare weekly cash balance summary
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports
  • Prepare monthly operating report and deposit summary
  • Assist with Principles accounting & reporting
  • Assist with monthly distribution to investors
  • Assist with budget preparations, forecasting, and year-end audits
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports

What You Should Have

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in public or private accounting
  • Focus in financial accounting preparation and reporting preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance is required
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ambition, a strong desire to learn, to achieve, to advance your career.
  • A strong interest in real estate and real estate investing.
  • Organizational skills; the ability to manage your time, focus and communicate with clarity.
  • A sense of urgency, an internal clock that helps you move with purpose.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
