ENE Systems is looking for an intelligent person with interest in becoming a Security Technician. The ideal candidate must be reliable and be willing to enroll in our ENE sponsored apprenticeship program. Candidate must be comfortable communicating with customers, subcontractors and other technicians.
The ENE sponsored apprenticeship program is a 2-year program which provides a pathway to becoming a licensed security technician in the State of MA. Successful candidates will graduate with the state required 4000 hours of on the job training as well as 300 hours of class work from a state approved Class D provider ($4,400 value) all while getting paid. This is a unique opportunity to join the fastest growing Security Company in the area.
Occupation Specific Tasks:
Works directly with a lead technician to execute projects
Able to communicate affectively both orally and in writing.
Interest in learning about circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Interest in learning how to connect and configure electric door locking devices including electric strikes, panic bars, magnetic locks and other locking devices.
Must be able to follow manufacturers' instructions for proper installation and programming of various security hardware.
Work on ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks to repair and troubleshoot devices.
Mount and fasten control panels, card readers, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and connect to head end equipment.
Prepare project documents such as punch lists, commissioning sheets, and as built documentation
Responsible for assisting lead Technician with the completion, closeout and turn-over of jobs to client and service dept
Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:
High School Diploma
No previous experience required
Must be able to pass a MA CORI background check
Must be willing to enroll in a Class D Electrical Certification program and pass
Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
Must have a Valid MA Drivers license and clean driving record
Willing to travel locally to job sites
Construction Experience a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
