Overview

Prysmian Group is seeking a people-oriented and change oriented champion to support our Sales Operations department. As the Contract Management Specialist you will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager and work on a highly knowledgeable team. Your position is responsible for understanding and getting to know the business, managing the CRM systems including on-line tools (i.e. portals, applications, social media applications), assisting in the prioritization of sales and marketing projects, and ensure that projects align with the overall business strategy. In this role you will be a liaison between Information Technology, the business, outside sales and inside sales functions. You will utilize your knowledge and subject matter expertise in order to continuously improve processes and solve barriers to success by leveraging your knowledge, IT and the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that the internal sales force you support can focus on selling in order to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads process development for the inside sales group
  • Manages system integration of two legacy systems for quoting, order entry, order management and all inside sales systems
  • Directs the work of training facilitators that onboard new users to the new processes and SAP system when launched
  • Liason with I.T., Business Units, and sales to share project integration updates as well as gain understanding and buy-in on critical process knowledge
  • Administers and trains team members on customer management system (CRM) and the quoting tool for all functions - internal and external (currently Salesforce.com and Firepond)
  • Convert and support marketing programs/promotions into technology solutions
  • Takes action on opportunities for continuous process improvement into the Sales process
  • Support for non-IT related special projects for Marketing, Product Management, Inside Sales, etc.
  • Develop reports and analyze sales data to support sales and marketing strategies
  • Write, run and analyze reports in CRM and on-line tools working with the Value Streams and Business Development to make informed decisions about business
  • Build relationships with Internal and Outside Sales, Business Development, Information Technology, and External technology stakeholders in order to drive integration deliverables
  • Directs projects towards desired technology strategies



Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelors within a business or I.T. related field or relevant experience
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in sales environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication with peers and upper management
  • Analytical and Problem-solving abilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
  • Highly team oriented
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

Preferred:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales within manufacturing


Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.
  • Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.
  • Employee will regularly be required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
  • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed.
  • Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
  • This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except excessive eye strain and possible lifting injuries
  • When travel is necessary, will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings
