Our Samsung Semiconductor Sales Team is highly focused on managing the business relationships between Samsung and our premiere clients headquartered in North America. The critical delivery of key custom parts and electronic components is a pivotal piece of the supply chain defines the symbiotic relationship between us and our clients. Exceeding customer expectations every day is the goal that drives our success as a highly motivated Sales Team.

OVERVIEW:

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, Storage, System LSI, LED, and LCD technologies.

This position is responsible for the sale of the organization's Memory and Storage Products in the greater Seattle area by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the market planning and technical development of products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build customer relationships across the customer organization and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare, negotiate, and close agreements on product target quantities and prices.
• Execute agreements on a monthly or quarterly basis to meet revenue targets.
• Manage PO placement, invoicing, payments, and credit.
• Manage and optimize supply chain activities aligned with customer requirements (hub operations, material returns, data management).
• Develop new business by selling into new applications or and/or selling new products.
• Contribute to account planning, account strategy, and forecasting.
• Report account activities and results to management and internal stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry
• 5 years of technical sales management.
• Sensitivity to multicultural business and social environments.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Travel (after COVID restrictions are eased)
  • Local: Visit customers, 2-4x per week
  • Domestic: San Jose, 1-2x per quarter
  • International: Asia, 2-3x per year
