Overview

The Revenue Operation Manager will be responsible for coordinating efforts between Discovery sales teams, the PGA TOUR sales team, Discovery editorial/content, TOUR content, Discovery Marketing, TOUR Sales Dev, and TOUR Strategy and Planning teams to create go-to-market sales opportunities and ensure success of campaign activations across all platforms (Golf Digest, GOLFTV, PGA TOUR).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally to facilitate involvement with projects across all business areas.
  • Sit centrally between the editorial, sales, and marketing teams representing strategy/planning/inventory management. Ensure the wants/needs of clients are at the forefront of our internal decision-making efforts.
  • Manage and implement global inventory pricing and packaging strategies for all owned platforms (Golf Digest, GOLFTV, and PGA TOUR International).
  • Participate in pre-sale activities such as RFP responses, ideation, planning and negotiations. Meet with clients as needed to articulate our value proposition.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with the TOUR Revenue Operations team to ensure campaigns are accurately tracked.
  • Closely monitor inventory delivery. Work with the broader Golf Digest team to ensure inventory commitments are met while delivering the best experience for the user. Aim to deliver the best quality impressions/products for clients.
  • Collaborate with TOUR Rev Ops on strategic campaign delivery and prioritization throughout lifecycle for macro level decisioning based on overall revenue objectives and individual campaign goals relative to actual sell through and available inventory
  • Gain input/alignment from internal stakeholder groups to ensure the business is positioned to hit its annual revenue target. Work jointly with the TOUR pricing/packaging team to ensure strategies are consistent.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all clients within the portfolio and proactively identify opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to identify new and unique sales opportunities. Ensure sales opportunities are widely known and understood by our sales teams, TOUR sales, planners, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Product and TOUR Product/Tech teams to bring new product opportunities to life. Communicate impact of new assets to all stakeholder groups.
  • Provide sales management with data to consider when setting sales goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum 3 years of revenue operations experience, with a working knowledge of pricing/packaging, planning and inventory management.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a team player and self motivated to go above and beyond responsibilities to help the team close deals and make numbers.
  • Think creatively, multitasker and ability to communicate efficiently both internally and externally required.
  • Must have legal right to work in the US.
