The Collaborative Center for Translational Mass Spectrometry (CCTMS, Pirrotte Lab) is a next-generation proteomics and metabolomics research center situated at the Translational Genomics Research Institute in Phoenix, AZ. The CCTMS develops and performs mass spectrometry analysis tailored for translational and clinical research, with a strong focus on cancer biology and precision medicine. The CCTMS is led by Dr. Patrick Pirrotte, Director of the center, and Director of the Integrated Mass Spectrometry Shared Resource at City of Hope's Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, CA.

Key interests of the CCTMS/Pirrotte lab are to functionally map kinome-substrate interactions (phosphorylations) to map key signaling pathways in cancer and support the development of novel targeted therapies. The CCTMS has developed an extensive bioinformatics pipeline that provides data integration across proteomics, metabolomics, genomics, and transcriptomics to provide a united and actionable overview of tumor biology in precision medicine clinical trials. The CCTMS is also hosting a number of research programs in ovarian cancer and pediatric cancers.
