The Job
Eckert & Ziegler Analytics seeks a Quality & Regulatory Compliance Specialist who confirms that product and order requests are compliant to customer, company, and regulatory requirements. Participates and/or leads process improvements projects. Conducts employee training on Quality and Regulatory matters. Completes required quality functions within the QMS to ensure continued compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17043, N42.22, RG 4.15, and applicable government regulations.
General Job Duties:
- Lead and/or participate in process improvement projects.
- Verify product compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Conduct incoming quality control inspections on parts and returns.
- Conduct final quality control inspection of manufactured items.
- Conduct Internal Audits and Supplier Audits.
- Conduct quality system and regulatory affairs training for employees.
- Participate in certification and accreditation audits.
- Review customer Purchase Orders for Quality and Regulatory compliance requirements.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies and customers regarding license inquiries.
- Maintain the Document Control, Approved Supplier, Customer Complaint, Internal Nonconformance and Corrective Action/Preventive Action programs.
- Maintain the Regulatory Library.
- Maintain Quality Management System compliant to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17043, ANSI N42.22 and RG 4.15.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a Science or Quality related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17043 or another ISO standard.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in quality control or other inspection function.
- Quality Control and Quality Assurance experience in a Production setting. This includes product inspection, document maintenance, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, supplier management, addressing customer concerns, etc.
- Experience participating in external and internal audits (Certification Body, Regulatory Agencies, etc.).
- Lead Quality Auditor or Lead Assessor qualification.
- Experience interpreting government regulations (NRC, DOT, etc.).
- Excellent communication, verbal, and writing skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent planning, organization, and flexibility to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment across multiple facilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must be able to travel.
