Bugcrowd is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to tell our story to the world. They will work on all aspects of Product Marketing, including messaging, sales enablement, content strategy, pricing and packaging across the company. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Crowdsourcing is a gamechanger for security because it leverages the same human creativity attackers use to decrease risk. So we are looking for a strong product marketing person with a passion for great and disruptive security products. Excellent messaging, communication and collaboration skills are a must, along with an understanding of the cyber security market. The person in this role will help to define and grow the market for crowdsourced cybersecurity, while helping the company achieve its go-to-market goals.


  • Core member of the marketing team
  • Define and drive best-in-class marketing and storytelling that spans new product introductions and in-market success
  • Support the strategic product marketing vision and work closely with marketing, sales, and product management
  • Develop content and messaging for product collateral, sales enablement, and demand gen programs
  • Collaborate with demand generation, events, press, social marketing teams to ensure unified marketing execution
  • Act as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing to coordinate and lead marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with product management and GTM leaders on pricing and packaging strategies
  • Track the security market and competitive landscape, in collaboration with product, marketing and sales
  • Create and maintain competitive battlecards
  • Be a subject matter expert and go-to resource for the sales team


  • At least seven (7) years of Product Marketing / Product Management experience. Youll need to have owned or executed full lifecycle product launches
  • Must be a strong writer with ability to develop compelling messaging, collateral, tools, and content for customers, partners and sales
  • An understanding of the cybersecurity landscape
  • Experience with a growth stage company
  • Previous product marketing or similar experience with a focus on customer-facing messaging, content strategy and creation
  • Ability to react and respond effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Experience supporting lead generation and sales enablement with top and mid-stage funnel asset generation
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop webinar content
  • Independent, self-starter with ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA is desirable
