THE POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Management, the Analyst is responsible for supporting the Asset Management team as they direct third-party property managers and provide direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, and capital improvements.

What You Can Expect To Do

  • Support the Portfolio Management team in the development and execution of strategic assets plans intended to maximize portfolio value and report performance results to senior leadership.
  • Perform analysis of property financials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Research partnership agreements, financing documents, regulatory agreements, tax returns and other source documents as needed.
  • Coordinate communications and manage requests from investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Forge strong relationships with operating partners, work through challenges, and communicate concerns to internal leadership when expectations are not being met.
  • Be an active participant in the creation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Support our Compliance team in monitoring compliance requirements and deadlines across multiple government agencies and programs.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects within Asset Management and other departments as needed.

What You Should Have

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of related business experience.
  • Ambition, a strong desire to learn, to achieve, to advance your career.
  • A strong interest in real estate and real estate investing.
  • Organizational skills; the ability manage your time, focus and communicate with clarity.
  • A sense of urgency, an internal clock that helps you move with purpose.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • The ability to travel as needed.
