Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor activity project calendars and plans, project schedules, work hours, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage day to day tasks necessary to successfully meet all project deliverables.
  • Coordinate development and dissemination of grant related materials, project information, products, and services.
  • Work with Director, internal partners, and external partners to develop, modify and implement curriculum for all project teaching/training activities.
  • Assist in the hiring process for adjunct teachers and camp assistants for multiple locations and coordinate/provide teacher training workshops.

  • Work with Director, internal partners, and external partners to develop, modify and implement curriculum for all project teaching/training activities.
  • Assist in the hiring process for adjunct teachers and camp assistants for multiple locations and coordinate/provide teacher training workshops.
  • Take the lead on participant recruitment, determining participant eligibility, schedule training, track participant progress and provide any supportive services as needed.
  • Assist the Director/Principle Investigator with procuring external resources to enhance the project's activities.
  • Work with Director/Principle Investigator to ensure program compliance, financial compliance and budget monitoring.
  • Maintain and complete all necessary file management and administrative procedures in an organized manner.
  • Work with partners to develop sound collegial relationships to fulfill grant requirements.
  • Assist in developing and collecting appropriate evaluation and reporting instruments.
  • Collect and assist in compiling NASA required data monthly to assist evaluator and PI in analyzing and preparing monthly reports and end of activity reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft applications, college databases, and other technology to enhance production and expedite workflow.
  • Willing to work outside of regular hours when necessary.
  • Willing to travel to other SJC sites, partner locations and NASA required meetings as necessary.
  • Other grant-related duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in at least two of the following
  • 1) 4th -11th grade teaching experience
  • 2) Project management, budgeting oversight
  • 3) Successful grant management/administration

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field preferred
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Banner software experience; knowledge of state, federal and /or local funding guidelines; SJC college procedures and policies experience; experience with NASA educational and/or training programs; successful grant writing and fund acquisitions.


Salary Grade: $24.00

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
