The Parent and Provider Coordinator educates families on early childhood education program options, provides referrals, and navigates families to community resources needed to promote family wellbeing and optimal early education. Educates community partners on YWCA programming, builds pathways to support family needs with community resources. This position also supports and implements recruitment & retention strategies on behalf of YWCA programs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional Training Required: A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of professional training related to Early Childhood and/or to the responsibilities of the position is required annually.
*Note: A Bilingual Parent & Community Referral and Recruitment Specialist who works with a foreign language speaking community must demonstrate cultural competency with that community and fluency in both English and the community's language (oral and written).
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following related fields (ECE, Child Development, Child Psychology/Behavioral Sciences, Family Consumer Sciences, Social Work, Elementary Education, Child Welfare, Family Services); OR Associate Degree with minimum of two (2) years-experience in the ECE field preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. This position may require work on some evenings and weekends. Schedule can vary depending on the needs of the agency.
Pay Range: $47,000 - $50,000
