This full-time position is a high-volume administrative role that supports our Artist Collaborations and client-facing music production team by proactively scouting and onboarding new artist talent and managing many associated administrative and asset management duties. This role works closely with the team of producers, staying up-to-date on new and changing catalog needs and supporting our composer staffing process. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of related experience, is skilled at building and growing relationships with artists and is very meticulous with details and organization. This is a distributed (remote) role, ideally based in the Portland, Oregon area.


Basics: At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a related role - including music production, project coordination, etc. A flexible problem solver with high attention to detail, highly organized and team-oriented.

Personality: Maybe you're a little Type A when it comes to details and organization. You're the reliable one who makes sure group projects get done and that the experience was enjoyable for all. You love connecting with people, growing and maintaining relationships and staying on top of music and music industry trends. Self-starter with a contagious can-do attitude. Plays well with others. You welcome criticism and often seek feedback. Unflappable; able to succeed in a highly creative, fast-paced environment.

Abilities: Highly organized, fast learner, excellent and clear communicator. Ability to manage multiple priorities, often on tight deadlines. Ability to shift quickly from different types of tasks and projects. Easily asks for help AND offers help. Ability to connect with Marmoset's wide variety of artists.

Experience: You have 2+ years of experience in a related role and are well-versed in music industry trends. You've worked on a team where your strong attention to detail and highly organized attributes made an impact. Proficiency with DAW and/or 2-3 years of music experience (personal or professional) are a plus.
