General Purpose:

This full-time, contract, entry-level position will run from June December 2023. This position will be split into two areas of focus:

1. Complete research and outreach project centered on homebrewing retail shops.
2. Provide high-quality service to Brewers Association membership/customers and supporting BA/American Homebrewers Association membership activities, data, and outreach efforts.

Essential Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
• Provide administrative support for various Professional Division activities, including data entry, database cleanup, the Forum, and student requests.
• Communicate with members on industry information and membership issues, including joining, renewals, membership status, and related issues.
• Conduct phone outreach to members on current issues and special projects.
• Support association priorities with contributions on miscellaneous projects, including events, conference registrations, ticket sales and mailings.
• Directly promote Brewers Association and American Homebrewers Association membership.
• Serve as a part of the frontline response team to all outside phone and email inquiries.
• Troubleshoot any user account and log-in issues on the Brewers Association and Homebrewers Association websites.
• Process AHA and BA memberships.
• Assist Brewers Association and American Homebrewers Association members with new and renewing online membership purchases.
• Record notes for departmental and committee meetings.

• Strong data entry skills with emphasis on speed and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to focus on one task for several consecutive hours.

Travel Required:

• Great American Beer Festival in Denver
• Additional travel to Brewers Association events or professional development as assigned.
