MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Mechanical Engineering position with emphasis in electronic packaging. The scope of the position requires a range of responsibilities spanning requirements definition, conceptual trade studies, design/analysis/packaging of RF and digital equipment, and integration activities. Other responsibilities includeparticipating in engineering analysis and evaluation efforts related to complex analog, digital, RF and integration hardware, documenting design approaches, establishing design verification and validation procedures, and developing plans to manufacture assemblies and major sub-assemblies. Duties will also include the design, assembly and maintenance of production test fixtures as required. To bring the designs to reality, mechanical engineers will develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and generate necessary requisitions for engineering project activities for which they are responsible. Ideal candidates will show an ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging design constraints, a willingness to take on new systems and engineering designs, a drive to identify and mitigate possible downstream obstacles, and offer customers unique solutions allowing the team to maintain a competitive edge. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the description above.
