Marketing Development Representative

As a Marketing Development Representative (MDR), you'll be an important member of the revenue team, tasked with calling inbound leads as fast as possible and creating a great first impression! You'll be the face of Valant, responding to inbound inquiries, connecting with prospects on our chat platform, and setting discovery call/demo appointments for Account Executives. Your role will also include compiling and analyzing meaningful sales and marketing data that will drive decisions for Valant's leadership team.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries, creating a great first impression
- Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to understand business needs and identify opportunities
- Coordinate the sales team by managing schedules and helping prepare proposals
- Take careful notes with details from your discussions to ensure the team is working with accurate information, and promote seamless hand off across teams
- Leverage various search tools to build lists of private practices that fit our ideal customer profile.
- Manage data consistency across lead/contact records to ensure all fields are populated correctly
- Assist with lead refunds, providing supporting documentation and following up to ensure Valant is not charged
- Manage sales enablement assets library, ensuring all sales collateral and demo videos are updated and organized
- Assist in reporting functions, help maintain revenue gameboards with KPIs
- Provide after sales support when requested
- Support the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing on lead and opportunity audits to ensure the revenue team is maximizing all inbound/outbound opportunity
