Price Engineering, a SunSource company, is an engineering and distribution company that serves Mobile and Industrial markets who need fluid power products and services. Price's expertise in design helps guide our customers from product selection to complete engineered hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems and solutions.

This role is responsible for overall Quality System Engineering activities supporting SunSource operations. Responsible to serve as Quality System Leader for SunSource units under ISO 9001-2015. The position will work closely with business unit leaders to ensure process capability and quality control via documented and controlled quality system.
Quality Management System Job Duties:


  • ISO 9001 system Manager
  • Internal auditor final review- (Internal audit CAPA)
  • Customer Complaint Action log management
  • Expand Quality system to business units as defined (FAB/S&R)
  • Develop sustainable PPAP process based on customer demands.
  • Management representative

Paragon & Perfection

  • ISO 9001 quality system Manager
  • Train site leaders for quality system ownership locally.
  • Internal Auditor final review
  • (ISO18001 and ISO 14001) will be managed by local resource
  • Management representative

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and submit PPAP documents for new product launches to meet customer requirements.
  • Quality value stream leader monthly best practice calls
  • Update Value added procedures to address customer perspective improvements
  • Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
  • Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action..
  • Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electronic controls.
  • Formal training as Lead Internal Auditor.
  • Certified Quality System Engineer.

General Education and Experience:

  • EducationAssociate Degree in quality/general business is required.
  • Experience 2+ years' experience in mechanical or hydraulic field. Any work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role preferred.
  • Skills Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, displays a professional can do attitude.
  • Certifications ASQ preferred
