POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the companys overall portfolio initiatives to maximize the value of the assets while ensuring conformance with the established standards and XHR investment objectives. Work with the VP Portfolio Initiatives to proactively identify and implement operational value enhancement opportunities within the portfolio to maximize property performance and the investment return of hotels.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with VP Portfolio Initiatives on related projects, reports, and initiatives. Assists in analysis and execution of operating agreements, leases, and contracts.

• Responsible for compiling and reporting Company portfolio reputation management scores and social media rankings, to include additional analysis regarding drivers of trends at all hotels.
• Collaborate with Finance team in building and reporting out on Key Performance Indicators, and benchmarking analysis for all hotels.
• Interfaces with Company Finance department on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis with respect to internal portfolio reporting related to budgets, EBITDA, STR, pace, and other relevant reports.
• Responsible for collection and editing Talking Points as prepared by Asset Managers
• Assists the companys Environmental, Social and Governance program through data analytics, tracking and monitoring developments, and design and formatting of reports.
• Responsible for periodic preparation and maintenance of all Asset Management reporting related to the Companys Sarbanes Oxley Act protocols.
• Administers the Marriott Growth Administration Committee (GAC) process on behalf of the Company.
• Supports Legal team with respect to periodic maintenance of service contracts, permits, and licenses associated with Company owned hotels.
• Provides analytics and data to the Investments team as needed to support Company asset transactions.
• All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• This position requires a bachelors degree (B.A.) in business or hotel management from a four-year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.

Experience:

• This position requires 3 to 5 years of prior professional experience in hotel management, multi-unit hotel manager, hotel/real estate financial analysis.

Certifications/Licenses:

• No certifications required.

Skills:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Outlook are required for this position.
• Intermediate skills in internet and brand websites are preferred for this position.
• Keyboarding skills are required for this position.
