REPORTS TO: Managing Director of Development and Communications
SALARY: $85,000 (annually), salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits included (medical, dental, prescription, vision, life insurance, 401K plan and 24 vacation days per year, personal day and sick days).

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9 AM-5 PM (schedule may vary according to department needs).

We are looking for a dynamic Manager of Community Relations to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY:
You will develop, create, and maintain partnerships across the agency and with outside stakeholders. You will be responsible for establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with foundations, corporations, and other institutional donors in partnership with our Institutional Giving team.
You will work closely with the Managing Director of Development and Communications, and in close coordination with other departments including Operations, HR, Early Childhood, Youth, and Senior programsand our Capital Projects teamto forge and strengthen internal and community partnerships. You will interface internally with staff and will serve as an external representative of the organization with consultants, contractors, government agencies, community organizations, and elected officials. You may be asked to manage and implement special projects as-needed. You will support institutional fundraising and assist in assessing and answering requests for proposals. You will assist with day-to-day administrative needs of the team as well as special projects and fundraising campaigns.
The ideal candidate lives within the New York City area, is deeply familiar with the City, and will be based out of our 175 Delancey Street New York, NY 10002 location. The position will be a mix of remote and onsite work: requirements to be in the office or otherwise work onsite will be based on the relationship needs of the project or work activity, while desk work can be done remotely.
