Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities of a Manager
  • Primary responsibility is to manage flight attendants to ensure understanding of procedures/processes for each flight.
  • Ensure inflight services are standardized.
  • Schedule necessary training as required.
  • Manage scheduling for each flight, PTO and back-up flight attendants.
  • Ensure the safe and secure conduct of all assigned flights.
  • Perform duties of a Flight Attendant.

Job Responsibilities of a Flight Attendant
  • Is responsible to the PIC for all assigned inflight duties, adherence to the SOP and proper use of Crew Resource Management procedures.
  • Participating in the Safety Management System and Security Program.
  • Administer first aid including AED/CPR with the assistance of inflight medical service providers, when necessary.
  • Normal inflight responsibility is to provide highest level of customer service to aircraft users.
  • Conducting pre-flight aircraft procedures and ensuring that all safety, galley and cabin equipment is ready for flight,
  • Ensuring passenger briefing is in compliance with the operations manual,
  • Maintaining order in the cabin at all times.
  • Facilitate and ensure communication between passengers, crew members and administrators of the Flight Department.
  • Maintain operational knowledge of galley located controls, cabin safety and audio/visual systems and cabin lighting systems for all aircraft flown.
  • Ensure the aircraft is stocked, the catering is correct and stowed, and the cabin is in a presentable condition before passengers are boarded.
  • Order catering in accordance with passenger special requests as well as serve food to passengers and crew during flight.
  • Ensuring food safety.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness during flight and cabin/equipment clean up after each flight.
  • Advising the Captain of any cabin discrepancies.
  • Ensure that aircraft is completely restocked, cleaned, and ready for next flight; after returning to the TEB base.
  • Additional duties may as assigned by Captain while assigned on trips.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills
  • The qualifications required to act as Cabin Attendant are a minimum of previous corporate/airline experience or successful completion of formal (major vendor) flight attendant initial training program and maintaining training standards specified in accordance with the Training manual.
