We are seeking a full-time, Licensed Counselor or Social Worker to take the lead role in developing and operating a comprehensive behavioral health program within a community high-school. This community school serves youth ages 16-22, many of whom face significant academic, social, and family-related challenges and are at risk of out-of-home placement in a higher level of care.

The intent of this program is to assist these students in developing the skills necessary to address the barriers that limit academic success. This program will operate in conjunction with other ISBH services, including individual and family counseling and case management.

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the initiative and desire to implement and establish this program. Doing so will include development of content, structure, and relationships with students, their families, and faculty. Applicants should be confident in their clinical skill-set, should enjoy working with this age-group and demographic, and should have some experience or a strong interest in learning how to lead therapeutic groups.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and leads therapeutic programming including individual, family, and group therapy, community-based case management and community engagement, outreach activities, and other services as needed.
• Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred students and families.
• Collaborates with school staff to ensure therapeutic services align with the school's mission, population, and schedule.
• Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
• Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
• Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet requirements for licensure as defined by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
• Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
• Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
• Broad knowledge of community service systems.
• Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team building activities.
• Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
• Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
