Description ******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** Under the direction of the Director of Lease Administration and Director of A/R Analysis, the Lease Administration Specialist will be responsible for management and support of legal tenant populations portfolio, assist regions with legal maintenance, liaising with external counsel as required, identify reporting needs for the team, and handle additional special projects and responsibilities. Additionally, the role will support portfolio level A/R analysis and pursuit.
General Duties and Responsibilities:The general duties and responsibilities of the position are included but not limited to the information listed below.
- Manage and support portfolio legal tenant populations. Assist regions with legal tenant maintenance liaising with external counsel as required
- Ensure timely internal/external follow-up and review monthly legal A/R reporting for completeness & monitor MRI to ensure all updates are captured
- Participate in monthly A/R calls
- Assist in addressing A/R tenant issues/pursuits en-mass, on behalf of the team.
- Develop specific A/R pursuit letters beyond pre-programmed
- Compile source data and automate distribution via e-mail merges (redirect letters, estoppels, true-up pursuit, deferrals, etc.)
- Assist/manage MRI tenant 'flag' management and scheduled events
- Responsible for MRI data uploads and testing
- Support Director of Lease Administration with lease analysis and technical projects
- Support MRI Commercial Management platform, including contact management and sales reporting/analysis
- Work with the team to identify reporting needs. Routine reporting and analysis as well as report ideation/creation.
- Take the lead in MRI report development and testing
- Develop 'Rapid Report' skillset to meet immediate reporting requirements and work with IT to develop further
- Support / coordinate audit requests
- Other special projects/responsibilities
Requirements - Bachelors degree, or equivalent, relevant experience
- 2-4 years commercial real estate knowledge
- Prior work experience utilizing strong administrative skills
- Ability to interact effectively with a range of internal and external customers
- Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems, reporting and ability to manage large datasets
