Who You Are

As a Knowledge Management Specialist you will be a key part of the Justworks Knowledge Management (KM) team, partnering across the organization to ensure Justworkers have equitable access to the knowledge they need to be successful in their role.

You will work closely with the Director, Knowledge Management to implement knowledge management strategies, including centralizing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge as well as supporting content management best practices for Justworks. You will be a champion for organization-wide data collection, knowledge sharing, and systemic learning.

You will help promote knowledge management and sharing strategy through Justworks with the goal of facilitating the seamless exchange of information across Divisions, Groups, programs, and systems.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Partner with key team members to support the capture of Justworks knowledge through processes and workflows developed to support the lifecycle of information
  • Drive adoption of governance processes, proactive content management and adherence to guidelines and best practices among knowledge contributors.
  • Help Justworkers become comfortable with tools and processes by developing training, resources and support materials
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and internal communication best practices
  • Collaborate with data analysts to report on usage and success metrics that help drive decision-making
  • Other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs

How You Will Do Your Work

As a Knowledge Management Specialist, you work cross-functionally, building relationships and supporting our teams getting access to the right information at the right time. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes are anchored in the following competencies:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in knowledge management or related fields
  • Experience with the use of technologies associated with Knowledge Management; experience with Confluence or other internal wiki tools a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills; familiarity with taxonomies and information architecture best practices
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information clearly, concisely, directly, and tactfully, including training and presentation skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working and collaborative relationships
