The San Francisco Conservatory of Music is searching for our next IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic IT Team and support the IT needs of our highly engaged students, faculty and staff. Working under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Information Technology, the incumbent will primarily provide back-office support while occasionally taking on front-line responsibilities. The IT Systems Analyst will play a key role in developing and supporting existing data and network systems, which will allow campus and remote operations to function effectively.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The IT System Analyst will:

• Provide support to IT staff members on data and networking projects.
• Create and maintain database scripts to support various processes and reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot and correct irregularities in disparate data systems in order to maintain data quality and ensure accurate reporting.
• Support faculty and staff with reporting requirements by creating and maintaining data reports.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Learn, document, train, and support new applications and systems.
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple requests at once.
• Other technology-related tasks as assigned.

• 2+ years experience in a Helpdesk/IT role
• SQL, PowerShell, Windows CLI, and Bash knowledge highly desirable
• Understanding of networking and connectivity tools
• Experience integrating applications, both cloud-based and on-premises
• BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Solid understanding of troubleshooting/diagnostic methods
• Exceptional customer service
• Skilled at managing and meeting end user expectations
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Experience with office productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics highly desirable
• Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
