Position Sumary

ARC is looking to bring on talented, ambitious Interns for our Summer 2019 Internship Program. If you are eager to take on a challenging and rewarding Internship with a high-tech company surrounded by awesome professionals, then we want to hear from you. Join us!

As a Production Support Intern, you will work with the Production Support team assisting with the day-to-day support and monitoring of ARC's web applications and other systems. You will also assist in identifying key metrics for the team and creating or enhancing reports of those metrics to the broader organization. We will ask for your input to improve existing processes and to establish new and necessary processes and procedures, and to document the same in the team's wiki environment.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Identify metrics related to the work of the Enterprise Production Support (EPS) team and how they can be measured and reported upon.
  • Create new reports and/or enhance existing ones.
  • Assist in monitoring production systems and validating web applications
  • Analyze code and/or data to assist in solving customer issues.
  • Document application information, disaster recovery information, and procedures in the team Wiki


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active student in good standing currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level program
  • Knowledge of application programming development (Java, Web-based technologies, SQL)
  • General knowledge of data analysis, query creation and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server)
  • Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong technical writing skills.


Is This a Paid Internship?
We are happy to compensate our Interns for their high-quality work. We offer $18.00 per hour for undergraduates and $25.00 per hour for graduate level students.
