As an Information Systems Manager in MSAs Global New Product Development Acceleration Team, the successful candidate will design, implement, and sustain information technology solutions that help accelerate MSAs Research and Development (R&D) efforts.


Areas of responsibility can include, but are not limited to SharePoint administration, CAD application administration, and software deployment.

The successful candidate is required to:

  • Understand key business processes and leverage metrics and experience to drive improvement projects within span of R&D control.
  • Support process and/or solution implementations with special focus on system and user acceptance testing.
  • Manage objections to process or system changes with goal of meeting key business requirements at lowest system complexity.
  • Provide basic user administration and subscription renewal support for engineering programs, including CAD, ANSYS, and Altium .
  • Lead the creation of documentation to enable future support and corrective resolution for newly discovered root cause and systemic issues.
  • Monitor system health and provide visibility to evolving trends, issues, etc. in area of expertise. Perform system patching, updates as required.
  • Engage with, and manage the interaction of, vendors performing contract service, support, and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage department budget, oversee invoice process, and forecast future software expenses.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Lean Six Sigma or Agile experience
  • Two years Microsoft Power Platform and Sharepoint experience

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience:
    • Level one: 2 years working experience in a IT or Administration role
    • Level two: 4 years relevant experience; MBA may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience
    • Level three: 6 years relevant experience; MBA may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
