Job Purpose

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake and support various HR administrative duties. You will be exposed to a wide range of Human Resources processes through facilitating daily HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration. We see this position as an opportunity for the right person to utilize and expand their HR experience and learn about our unique firm and the people who make it a family. Most importantly, we're looking for someone personable and approachable, who can work individually and within a team.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

To join the JWI HR Team, we expect you to have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. It would also be beneficial for you to have 1-3 years of experience in a Payroll or Human Resources role, preferably within a professional service, project management, or construction management organization.

Qualifications and Skills

Our culture drives JWI, and at the heart of that culture is its people. As part of the HR Team, you will have the opportunity to work with everyone in the company. It will require you to work on multiple projects simultaneously, each with varying priorities. We are a close team, and we rely on each other to get a wide variety of tasks complete with strict deadlines.

Previous experience with payroll is preferred; Paylocity is a plus. It would help if you had a fundamental understanding of all administrative computer programs. We'd also like you to have a general knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
