Interbrand is looking for an exceptional individual to act as a key partner to our leaders and an advocate for our employees. You will ensure Interbrands talented community continues to be engaged and energized at work. Day-to-day, you will create and implement people-focused programs while providing consultation to leaders of our businesses on all aspects of talent management including organizational structure, talent development, succession planning, employee retention, compensation, and employee engagement.

THE ROLE:

  • Primary HR liaison for employees on assigned teams regarding day to day HR topics and policies, in addition to spearheading broader Talent Team projects
  • Partner closely with Finance, Talent Acquisition and Operations to stay well informed on the state of the business
  • Ensure talent retention by developing and implementing programs to foster a workplace environment that is consistent with the values and vision outlined by the leadership of the company
  • Lead, develop and implement HR projects on topics including learning and development, compensation, employee engagement, and corporate communications
  • Assist and drive the development and implementation of HR best practices and business processes
  • Stay current on HR regulations and trends
  • Act as advisor/mediator in employee relations situations
  • Handle Performance Management situations including terminations
  • Identify workplace morale and organizational issues and partner on creating solutions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6+ years experience managing the entire employee life cycle; experience with a consulting or advertising agency is preferred
  • Current SHRM certification preferred
  • Conceptual understanding of employment laws and policies, particularly in the US
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve disputes and observe confidentiality
  • MS Office and HRIS experience required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
