Interbrand NY is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic, tight-knit People team! This is an incredible opportunity for someone eager to learn all about Human Resources and Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced, vibrant agency environment. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organization and prioritization skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a small team.

THE ROLE:

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding process
  • Track regular/non-regular employees' time off on a weekly basis
  • Act as a liaison between employees and external benefits team
  • Answer employee payroll and benefits questions
  • Attend bi-weekly payroll and benefit calls
  • Manage administration of internal systems including HRIS, Performance Management and Time Entry
  • Support Talent Acquisition with scheduling of interviews and initial candidate screenings
  • Partner with Payroll to process payroll paperwork for all employees within the North American region
  • Assist in managing freelance inbox (responding to employee questions, ensuring approvals for FL timesheets, ensuring accuracy of job numbers)
  • Handle monthly and ad hoc HR reporting
  • Assist People team on ad hoc projects
  • Help plan company events (summer party, holiday party, health fair)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience within a professional setting, ideally within a creative organization or agency - internships are ok!
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and reprioritize
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Interest in learning across both HR and Talent Acquisition functions
