Marmoset is seeking an HR Coordinator

This full-time opportunity requires someone who has introductory-to-moderate experience with general HR and office management responsibilities and fosters an empathic, people-first approach to human resources. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, a master of details and is open to learning and improving upon systems and policies - working to ensure the integration of people, systems, place, process, and technology. The HR Coordinator is highly personable, detail-oriented, can easily adapt and come up with creative solutions to problems. This role will have the opportunity for flexible remote work 75-90% of the week and will need to work from our HQ in Portland, Oregon 10-25% of the work week.

Abilities: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, good researcher, fast learner. Thinks big picture without forgetting the small details. Flawless execution of HR duties like payroll, employee benefits, handbooks and policy. You are able to help people navigate and help resolve conflict. Listening and empathy are your superpowers. You're down to roll up your sleeves and jump in to help wherever needed. Project management comes naturally to you.

Experience: The ideal candidate has 1-2 years HR experience and/or an office/studio management background. You worked on a team where your strong attention to detail and highly organized attributes made an impact. Experience working with employment compliance and law in multiple states is a plus.

Passion: A passion for people, systems, managing details and making a difference in the world. Love of music is a plus.

Pay: early- to mid-career compensation, DOE.
