POSITION SUMMARY:The primary purpose of this position is to lead and supervise the Housekeeping/Laundry departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility to assure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

KEY JOB FUNCTION:
  • Keep all physical areas clean, neat and free of unpleasant odors, and free of infections all of the time.
  • Timely and effectively launder all linens: Infection Free, Repaired, Labeled & Folded / Delivered.
  • Timely and effectively launder all resident clothing: Infection Free, Repaired, Labeled, Folded & Delivered.
  • Provide quarterly recommendations to Executive Director to reduce damage and losses of linens and clothing.
  • Ensure labor hours (per day, week, month, etc.) and other expense PPD ($) are within budget.
  • Timely and accurately evaluate performance of direct reports.
  • Timely and effectively integrate all identified company and regional initiatives into department.


Minimum Requirements

  • Must have 3-5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or other related medical facility.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the State of residence.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
